The Daily at The Gibbes to be Unveiled in Early 2018
The Gibbes Museum of Art has partnered with downtown eatery and coffee shop, The Daily by Butcher & Bee, to launch an on-location café, offering a new dining option for guests. The new concept will replace the existing Gibbes café.
The Daily at the Gibbes will open on the newly renovated first floor of the Gibbes Museum in early 2018. It will offer a menu of breakfast, lunch, and snack options and will include selections from The Daily’s signature items as well as Stumptown coffee & espresso, cold-pressed juices, smoothies, and wine and beer selections. Options are expected to include toasts, soups, sandwiches, salads, mezze, and grab & go items, in addition to pastries and ice cream treats from Butcher & Bee pastry chef and James Beard Award Nominee Cynthia Wong.
The cafe will be open to both museumgoers and the general public without requirement of paid admission for access. It will feature updated interiors and outdoor seating.
The Gibbes Museum is located at 135 Meeting Street in downtown Charleston.
