The 10th Annual Follypalooza Cancer Benefit will take place on Saturday, October 21st from 10 am to 5 pm on Center Street. The family-friendly event will feature live entertainment, a date auction, local food, art vendors, kids activities, and more.
Attendees will enjoy live entertainment throughout the day with performances by Plane Jane, Dave Landeo & The Sol Beats, Dallas Baker & Friends, The Dubplates, Sweet T and Dave Grunstra.
This year’s event will also feature over 60 food, arts and crafts vendors, and a Beer Garden with local craft beer and cider.
In addition, there will be a Kids Zone which will include free carnival games, jump castles, hula hooping, arts and crafts, and more.
The annual fundraiser directly supports Folly Beach neighbors, who due to medical ailments, are in dire need of financial support. Founded in 2007, Follypalooza has raised over $67,000 to help 35 Folly locals through their battles with cancer and other medical ailments.
Tickets into the festival are $5 in advance and $10 at the door and include a commemorative cup and koozie (while supplies last). Kids 12-and-under and Folly Beach residents will receive free entrance. Tickets can be purchased online at http://www.whollyticket.com /event/follypalooza2017. Wristbands are required to drink at the festival and will be available to those 21+ at the entrance. Dogs and coolers are not permitted.
