The Best Friend Program at The Charleston Music Hall Returns

Published

on

The Charleston Music Hall and National Shows 2 have announced the continuation of The Best Friend Program, a series of packages that allow fans to purchase tickets in select locations ahead of the general public.

Between November 17th at 10 am and December 22nd at 10 pm, you will have the opportunity to buy one of the Best Friend packages. You will pick from 3 sections: The Front Row Package, The Premium Package, and The Value Package (see below for specific seating). You will then have first right of refusal on seats in these sections for all National Shows 2 shows in the Hall (60 – 80 shows in 2018). When a new show is announced, the Music Hall will give you unique code that you will then use to buy a seat out of your section before the general public – and even before venue or artist pre-sale tickets! You can do this online, by coming by the box office (37 John St.), or by calling 843-853-2252 during box office hours.

The Best Friend Program will start for all shows announced after December 22nd and will last for one year from that date. One Best Friend Package = 1 Seat, but you can buy more than 1 package at a time (limited to 2 Front Row and 4 Premium Packages seats per person).

This program does not apply for Moranz Entertainment shows (like The Charleston Christmas Special) or Charleston Jazz Orchestra shows.

The three different packages to choose from are:

  • The Front Row Package
    • $250
    • Guaranteed front row seats in Pit A and Pit B
  • The Premium Package
    • $150
    • Guaranteed best seats in Sections A, B, C, D, E, G, H, I
  • The Value Package
    • $85
    • Guaranteed seats before the general public in Sec. C Rear, D Rear, E Rear, H Rear, J

FYI – You will be required to validate that you live within a 150 mile radius of Charleston for the program.

Originally built as a train station in 1850, the Music Hall once housed a train called The Best Friend. This is where the name for the venue’s program came from (by the way, a replica of the train can be seen at the train museum across the street from the venue).
