Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls To Open on Market Street

UPDATE, 12/12/17: A representative from Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls has confirmed that the franchise will be opening a restaurant on Market Street. They told Holy City Sinner that the business will be located on the ground floor in what will be a boutique hotel.

The representative said the opening date is up-in-the-air, but estimated a late Spring 2018 opening. They also provided the following info:

• This will be a franchise store and the franchisee lives in Mount Pleasant
• All of lobster comes direct from one supplier in Prospect Harbor, Maine

If a window sticker is to be believed, a new restaurant is planning to open in the former downtown Wild Wing Cafe location. Quintin Washington, a local media personality and host of Quintin’s Close-ups, spotted the sticker (right) which says 36 N Market Street is the future home of Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls.

Although the restaurant’s website describes the business as a “homage to the Maine culture and tradition,” the flagship shop is located in Annapolis, MD. There are currently three total locations in Maryland, and one in Delaware.

Mason’s menu includes lobster rolls, salads, soups, and more. You can see the menu here.

There has been no official announcement from Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls, unless you count the sticker.
