Oyster Roast Benefiting East Cooper Meals on Wheels Scheduled for 1/21

East Cooper Meals on Wheels will hold its 5th Annual Oyster Roast on Sunday, January 21st from 1 pm to 4 pm at Palmetto Island County Park in Mt Pleasant. All proceeds benefit the group’s mission of providing daily nutrition to residents who are homebound or unable to provide their own meals.
In addition to oysters (provided by The Noisy Oyster), admission includes live music from The Sayer McShane Band, a barbecue competition between local chefs and organizations, hot dogs, beer, wine, and soft drinks.
Tickets are $35 for adults, $20 for everything but oysters, and $10 for children. In addition, guests will be required to pay the park admission fee ($2 per person; free for Gold Pass members and children 2 and under). For more event information and to purchase tickets, click here.
