UPDATE: CARTA Service Suspended
UPDATE: CARTA has suspended operations and will resume service when the system can operate safely. Updates will be available via media updates and CARTA social media channels.

CARTA is providing free service to two warming shelters on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. Transportation to the shelters will continue while regular service is available today.
Service is being provided to the Charleston County Warming Shelter on Leeds Avenue via Route 103 Leeds Avenue.
Those wishing to be transported to the shelter who first board another route should inform their bus operator of their intended destination. Drivers can advise regarding necessary transfers.
Anyone seeking shelter on Tuesday can also use CARTA Route 13 Remount Road for free to access the Aldersgate United Methodist Church Winter Warming Shelter. Passengers should inform drivers of their destination when boarding.
The Aldersgate United Methodist Church Winter Warming Shelter is located at 1444 Remount Rd. in North Charleston.
