Taste of Folly 2018 Takes Place Saturday

The 2018 Taste of Folly Festival returns this weekend for a two-day celebration out on the Edge of America. The event will showcase everything Folly with a focus on the eclectic culinary scene. 

Here’s a look at the this year’s event schedule:

Friday, January 19th

“The Taste of Folly Cocktail Competition set to take place this Friday, January 19 has been rescheduled for Saturday, January 27, 2018.”

• 7 pm – 10 pm: Cocktail Competition at the Tides Hotel
  • Cocktail Competition hosted by Cannon Distillery
  • Taste craft cocktails made by Folly restaurants and bars and then vote for you favorite
  • Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door
    • Includes all samplings of cocktails
    • Must be 21 and over to attend the event

Saturday, January 20th

• 10 am – 4 pm: Street Festival on Center Street
  • Local Folly restaurants and bars
  • Over 40 arts, crafts, and fashion vendors
  • Chili cook-off
  • Hot dog eating contest
  • Oyster shucking contest
  • Server Olympics
  • Kids area
  • Live music
  • Cooking demonstrations
  • Tickets are $5 in advance, $10 at the door and Folly residents and kids 12 and under are free
