The 23rd Park Circle Comics “Taking Flight Comic Book Show” is Saturday

Park Circle Comics will hold their Taking Flight Comic Book Show 23 – “The Illuminati Clearance Sale!”- on Saturday, February 17th at The Sparrow in the Park Circle business district. The event runs from noon to 5 pm.
Taking Flight 23 will feature huge discounts on bargain comics (nearly 10,000 to choose from), collector comics, premium wall books, and graphic novels. Comics start at just $0.15.
The show will also feature local artist Kelly Ochocki and her hand made sculptures, drawings, and paintings. In addition, Gray Cat Music will be on site with a great selection of vintage vinyl and other music collectables
A donation of $5 is suggested at the door. The money will go towards Park Circle Cares, a non-profit organization with a passion to combat food insecurity in the Lowcountry. Park Circle Cares purchases food from the Lowcountry Food Bank and others, then transports the food to neighborhoods that have a high need. Leftover foods are donated to local churches and senior citizen homes.
Park Circle Comics, in conjunction with The Sparrow, began the Taking Flight comic book shows in July of 2013. The Sparrow is located at 1078 East Montague in North Charleston.
