Slow Food Charleston Hosts Annual Meeting and Farm-Focused Potluck Sunday

Slow Food Charleston members and friends will gather this Sunday at Low Tide Brewing from 3 pm to 6 pm to partake in the Slow Food tradition of a community potluck. Board leaders will remark on the changes and growth of 2017 and set goals, talk dates, announce Slow Food Board opportunities, and make plans for 2018.

Event Details:

• This is a FREE EVENT

• Low Tide Brewing is located at 2863 Maybank Hwy, Johns Island

• Guests should bring a seasonal, locally inspired dish to share, preferably with ingredients sourced from a favorite local farm (please bring a serving utensil)

• Not up for making a dish? That’s OK! For a suggested donation of $10, anyone can get a plate and enjoy the spread

• Beer from Low Tide available for purchase

• Information on local CSA options and area farms

• Tiny Tastemaker activities for the little ones
