Edmund’s Oast Brewing Co. Partners with Home Team BBQ to Brew Special Collaboration Beer

Edmund’s Oast Brewing Co. (EOBC) and Home Team BBQ have collaborated to brew a special beer called “F is for #Effcancer” that will debut this weekend at the Hogs for the Cause Block Party.

The beer is a 6% ABV Amber Ale that features hints of orchard fruit and flowers on the nose, coupled with freshly toasted bread and hints of caramel on the palate. The finish is dry and quick which, goes perfectly with the delicious meats and menu items served at Home Team BBQ. The beer will be sold at EOBC and all local Home Team BBQ locations and all of the proceeds of the sales will benefit Hogs for the Cause. Pints will be sold at $5 each.

Hogs for the Cause is the premier funding source for pediatric brain cancer outreach services in the U.S. They have given 600 grants over 10 years and are partnered with several hospitals to reach these families, including Children’s Hospital of New Orleans, Ochsner Hospital for Children, Duke Children’s Hospital, Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Children’s Hospital, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite, and Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.
