Park Circle’s St. Paddy’s Day Block Party & Parade Returns on 3/10
The 15th Annual St. Paddy’s Day Block Party & Parade in Park Circle, likely the biggest St. Patrick’s Day celebration in the Charleston area, will take place on Saturday, March 10th from noon until 6 pm. The event is located on East Montague Avenue between Virginia and Jenkins Avenues.
As usual, the party begins with the parade at noon. It will start at Park Place East, which is adjacent to East Montague Avenue and across from Park Circle Community Center. The parade route will proceed down East Montague through the block party location to Virginia Avenue.
The Block Party follows and will include live music on four stages, vendors, food, drinks, and more. There will also be a Kid’s Zone with fire trucks, jump castles, face painting, inflatable slide, and a bungee trampoline.
The live music line-up includes:

- 12:30 pm – Mark Schuler
- 2 pm – Good Foot Band
- 3:30 pm – Paddy McGee Duo
- EVO Pizzeria Stage
- 12:30 pm – Capitol City Playboys
- 1:30 pm – The Ectomorphs
- 2:30 pm – Dustin P. Fanning & The Seconds Out
- 4 pm – The Metro Tools
- Guinness Stage at Madra Rua
- 12:30 pm – Karl Byrne
- 2 pm – The Black Iron Gathering
- 4:30 pm – Don Merckle & The Blacksmiths
- Madra Rua Side Stage
- 1:00 pm – Charleston Pipe Band
- 2:00 pm – Danny May
- 4:00 pm – John Cusatis
The best part? The party, parade, and parking are all free! Parking is very limited, so attendees are encouraged to carpool. VIP Parking will be available for $5 at North Charleston High School and will benefit the North Charleston High PTSA and Senior Week activities. Free parking will be located on O’Hear Avenue by accessing Virginia Avenue from I-526 East. Follow parking signs from Virginia Avenue.

East Montague Ave. between Virginia Ave. and Jenkins Ave. and portions of O’Hear Ave., Chateau Ave. and Colie Morse Lane will close at 9 am for set up and remain closed until 7 pm. Additionally, East Montague Avenue between Park Place East and Jenkins Avenue will close at 11:30 am and stay closed for the duration of the parade.
