Famulari’s to Host Chucktown Brewdown in May – Home Brewers Needed

Famulari’s Brewpub, has opened registration for home brewers looking to be one of 32 teams to compete in their inaugural Chucktown Brewdown, a home brew competition and festival on Saturday, May 12th. The event will run from noon to 4 pm.
The winner of the competition will have the opportunity to work with brewmaster Justin Famulari and recreate their beer to be placed on tap at the brewpub. The champ will also receive a brewing material grab bag and gift certificates to Famulari’s and Beer Engineer Supply.
Each competition will feature a different style of beer for the competitors. This year, the style is Amber beer – Amber Ale, Amber Lager, Imperial Amber, Amber IPA.
Registration is $10 per team and includes one participant t-shirt, a Famulari’s gift card, 10% off ingredients at Beer Engineer Supply, and day-of-event supplies – tents, tables, and ice.
