Pulitzer Prize-Winning Journalist Discusses Emanuel AME Church on 3/5

New York Times correspondent Kevin Sack will discuss the 200-year story of Charleston’s Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church, also referred to as Mother Emanuel, during a talk at the College of Charleston’s Addlestone Library on March 5th.

The discussion will be held in room 227 of the library beginning at 6 pm. The program is sponsored by the College of Charleston Friends of the Library.

Kevin Sack is a senior writer for the New York Times. He has written about national affairs for more than three decades and has shared in three Pulitzer Prizes. He is currently working on a book on the narrative history of the Emanuel AME Church.

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
