Affordabike Hosts Family Charity Ride with Going Places on March 30th

On Friday, March 30th, Affordabike will host a family bike ride to raise funds for local nonprofit Going Places.

There is a suggested $15 donation at the event to help with the purchase of the custom bikes that Affordabike and Going Places will donate to every child at Mt. Zion Elementary, a low income school on Johns Island (the surprise bike reveal will be held on May 1st).

The family bike ride event will begin at 5:30 pm at the Affordabike store (573 King Street) with wooden obstacle courses for kids. At 6:30 pm, an abbreviated slow ride around town will be held. The ride wraps up back at the Affordabike shop with free food and drinks.

There will be a raffle for a $350 gift card for a custom bike that can be designed at www.BildaBike.com with tickets costing $6 each or $10 for two. All proceeds will benefit Going Places.

All ability levels are welcome for the family ride. All donations are tax deductible.
