Trade a Book for a Beer at the Bay Street Biergarten on 4/10
Who says there is no such thing as a free beer? Swing by Bay Street Biergarten on Tuesday, April 10th, from 5:30 pm to 8 pm, for the Charleston Friends of the Library’s 3rd annual Books for Bier event. This event is in celebration of National Library Week.
Like its name implies, bring a gently used book to Bay Street Biergarten and receive one free beer! Also, any child who brings a children’s book to donate will receive a free root beer! (Limit one beverage per person).
During the 3rd annual Books for Bier event, the Charleston Friends of the Library will be on site selling books and will have amazing silent auction items for attendees to bid on. Admission is FREE.

The Charleston Friends of the Library is a non-profit volunteer organization that raises money through book sales to help fund library services, equipment, training, materials and public programming. The Charleston Friends of the Library fund over 6,000 programs, classes, and events each year.
