Group of Downtown Restaurants Launch Tater Tot Crawl
Who has the best tater tots in town? A group of restaurants wants you to decide during Tater Tot Crawl 2018. HōM has teamed up with Bay Street Biergarten, The Alley Charleston, Charleston Beer Works and Recovery Room to present the event on Saturday, April 28th from noon to 4 pm.
A panel of judges will taste each restaurant’s tater tots and score them based on appearance, crispness, creativity/uniqueness, taste, and color. The panel of judges includes Leyla Gulen, Fox 24 TV Anchor; Larry Downey, Lowcountry Local First Community Manager; Barbara Skidmore, Blushing Alpacas Lifestyle and Travel Blogger; and Southern Charm cast member Austen Kroll.
The Tater Tot Champion will be announced at the last location, HōM, after the scorecards are tallied. The winner will receive a trophy, as well as a monthly free membership to Holy Spokes Charleston Bike Share.
