Over the next two months, Freshfields Village will welcome three new retailers to their current mix of tenants currently on property. Among the new businesses are modern-casual ladies’ boutique TINA Stephens, premium fragrance shop Palmetto Scent Studio, and national ice cream maker Ben & Jerry’s. The latest additions come shortly after the recent opening of S. Bogan Designs, the expansion of Southern Tide Kiawah and the relocation of Sugar Snap Pea.

TINA Stephens, now open at 475 Freshfields Drive, is the leading retailer of the Tees by Tina collection and features travel-friendly lifestyle wear. Their unique take on modern, casual style is ideal for both travel and island wear. Tees by Tina carries tees and tops that are ultra-comfortable, lightweight and versatile. The collection also includes bottoms, dresses, skirts, leggings, active and maternity wear, all expertly crafted using seamless technology and a distinct blend of the softest yarns. The boutique will also offer a selection of more elevated styles like tunics and shirtdresses for a simple, sophisticated look.

Opening the second week of April at 211 Farm Lake View, Palmetto Scent Studio will offer its customers the opportunity to explore the art of fragrance. Specializing in premium, gourmet soy wax candles, wax melts, reed diffusers, room sprays and pure fragrance oils, Palmetto Scent Studio allows customers to experience the scents of the Lowcountry and beyond. Customers can either purchase a pre-made candle from a selection of over 130 scents or work with the team at the fragrance bar to create a unique scent, adding personal touches such as a special container or customized label design. Palmetto Scent Studio will welcome large groups for in-studio events, with reservations available for parties of four or more.

Slated for a late May opening at 624 Freshfields Drive, Ben & Jerry’s will take over the space previously occupied by Sugar Snap Pea, the children’s clothing boutique which has moved to 645 Freshfields Drive. The beloved ice cream franchise with origins in Burlington, Vermont, will bring a family-friendly environment with all of their signature flavors to the Village just in time for summer. The shop will be part of the locally owned and operated Charleston area franchise.
