CharlestonGOOD and 5 Gyres Host “Let’s Talk Plastics!”

Published

on

Join CharlestonGOOD and 5 Gyres’ co-founders Marcus Eriksen and Anna Cummins for an intimate gathering to build connections, share ideas, and increase our collective impact – locally and beyond. “Let’s Talk Plastic!” will be held on Friday, April 27th from 6 pm to 8 pm at 2 Canal Street.

Plastic pollution is quickly becoming a global threat, recognized by cities, corporations, and communities as an emerging environmental crisis.

So, what can we do about it? How can we best work together locally, nationally and globally? How do we integrate both social and environmental justice issues in this collective work?

These are just some of the questions they hope to address.

This event is FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

Local environmental organizations are encouraged to attend and to bring informational materials to share. Click here for more information.
