on

The Charleston Parks Conservancy’s Jazz Brunch series returns to Hampton Park on Sunday, May 20th from 11 am to 2 pm.

The event will include:

  • Jazz music from Asa Holgate and his band
  • Local food trucks
    • Brunch Holiday, Roti Rolls, Notes Curbside Coffees, and Kay’s Southern Kitchen
  • Beer, wine and mimosas available for purchase
  • Guests are invited to bring their best picnic decor (think festive place settings and fun chair coverings) for a chance to win one of three prizes

Attendees should bring their chairs and blankets. No coolers or pets allowed.

Admission is $15. Free admission for children 12 and under. Purchase tickets online.

While in Hampton Park, be sure to check out the first Art in the Parks exhibit at the southern edge of the park along Mary Murray Drive. The four large-scale pieces are made from colorful wood and transparent cast acrylic and engraved with local children’s drawings, maps of Charleston, and images of plant life. The sculptures are the culmination of almost a year of work by Georgia-based artist Joseph Dreher and the Conservancy.
