Hyman’s Honors Local Teachers on Teacher Appreciation Day with Free Meal
In honor of Teacher Appreciation Day on Wednesday, May 9th, Hyman’s Seafood will treat Lowcountry teachers to a free meal. Teachers with a proper school ID are invited to dine for free (up to $20) from 11 am to 9 pm.
Meals may be ordered until 8 pm. Teachers can select items from either the deli menu or the seafood menu.
National Teacher Appreciation Day, also known as National Teacher Day, is observed on the Tuesday of the first full week in May. The day is part of Teacher Appreciation Week, which is the first full week in May of each year. The National Education Association describes National Teacher Day “as a day for honoring teachers and recognizing the lasting contributions they make to our lives”.
