The Green Heart Project’s Harvest Dinner will be held on May 17th
On Thursday, May 17th, local non-profit organization The Green Heart Project will once again partner with the students and faculty of Mitchell Elementary School for the 8th annual Harvest Dinner. The event is open to the community and will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm.
The Harvest Dinner is the Green Heart Project’s annual fundraiser celebrating their farm-to-school programs. The block party-style celebration includes BBQ, delicious veggies sourced from local farms and Green Heart’s very own school garden, live music, kid-friendly activities, and a bike valet.
Tickets are $20 for community members, $10 for students, and free for children 12 & under. Proceeds from the tickets, which can be purchased here, will support the Green Heart Project and the farm-to-school programs it runs in the Charleston Area.
The dinner will be held at Mitchell Elementary School (2 Perry Street, Charleston).
