Freshfields Village Announces Summer Events Programming

Freshfields Village, located at the crossroads of Kiawah and Seabrook Islands, announces the return of their summer programming with outdoor events held weekly on the Village Green starting Memorial Day weekend and continuing through Labor Day Weekend.

New to the Village this year, join STUDIO 33 and Dolittle’s for “Fit with Fido” on the Village Green from 6:30 to 7:30 pm on the first Thursday of every month, May through September. Enjoy an outdoor workout while your furry friend snacks on some tasty treats from Dolittle’s — dogs welcome! The class is donation-based, and guests are asked to bring their own yoga mats or towels. 

Come Memorial Day weekend, the summer events kick off with a special, two-night “Music on the Green “series, held Friday, May 26 and Saturday, May 27th from 6 to 9 pm on the Village Green. The weekly series continues every Friday, June 1st through August 31st from 6 to 9 pm. This family friendly, outdoor concert series will feature local groups and top acts from across the Southeast in all genres of music. The concerts are free, and guests are encouraged to bring a beach chair or blanket. You can see the schedule below.

The summer Farmer’s Market returns on Monday, June 4th, and will be held weekly on Mondays from 4 to 8 pm. Guests can browse the freshest produce and local specialty items, including certified organic produce, fresh seafood, packaged and prepared foods, as well as handmade Lowcountry crafts.

On Wednesday, June 13th, Freshfields Village will host the first Starlight Cinema event of the season. The series of film screenings will take place each Wednesday through August 15th (with the exception of July 4) at 8:30 pm on the Village Green. Guests can bring a blanket, chair and picnic and enjoy a free, family-friendly outdoor movie. This year’s series will feature the year’s biggest hits including Despicable Me 3, Wonder, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi. You can see the schedule below.
