Leftovers: Tidbits from the Food & Bev Community (5/12/18)
I created the “Leftovers” series to ensure I could share as much food and bev news as possible, so here’s the latest:
- 5Church Charleston announced their participation in the 7th Annual Cabernet Academy hosted by Alexander Valley Winegrowers Association, “The Somm Journal” and Master Sommelier Fred Dame. The two-and-a-half-day event will take place May 21st through May 24th, 2018 in Alexander Valley, California. 5Church Beverage Director Patricia Smith is the only invitee to the event from the Carolinas.
– - Dockery’s has welcomed a new general manager, Chuck Isenberg, to their team. Isenberg, whose last position was as general manager at Prohibition, has already introduced a happy hour, a summer concert series, a customer loyalty program, and more. You can learn all the details here.
