Home Team BBQ to Open New Location in Columbia
This winter, Columbia area residents will have a new way to satisfy barbecue cravings with the opening of Home Team BBQ in the Five Points neighborhood. The restaurant will set up shop in the old Harper’s restaurant space at 700 Harden Street. This new location will be Home Team’s fifth – and largest – to date. The company currently operates three restaurants in the Charleston area, and one in Aspen, CO.
Once the Columbia spot opens, guests can expect lunch, dinner, brunch, and late night service, along with full service catering and large party to-go ordering. Down the road, the restaurant may offer live music and entertainment as well.
Those familiar with Home Team BBQ’s other locations will recognize the menu, which won’t vary too much from the offerings available at the Charleston and Aspen restaurants. The bar program will focus on craft beer, frozen and craft cocktails, a wide bourbon selection, and wines.
