SOL Southwest Kitchen & Tequila Bar has donated more than $55,000 to date to numerous local charities through their “Kitchen Karma” program. The restaurant’s charity initiative donates a $1 from each signature food item and a signature cocktailsold in a six-week time period to a local charitable organization.

From Monday, May 21st through Sunday, July 8th the three area SOL locations will be partnering with the Green Heart Project. The Green Heart Project builds garden-based experiential learning projects and school garden programs to help educate students, connect people and cultivate community through the growing, eating and celebrating food. The featured items for the Green Heart Project include the SOL Salad and the Strawberry Basil Smash cocktail.

Before partnering with the Green Heart Project, SOL partnered with local nonprofit WINGS and raised a total of $2,875, which will be used to help at-risk kids with social and emotional problems to succeed.

All three SOL locations are open Monday-Saturday at 11am and Sunday at 10 am serving lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch. For more information about SOL and their “Kitchen Karma” Program, visit https://solsouthwestkitchen.com/kitchen-karma/.
