Brad and Jennifer Moranz Gather Area’s Most Talented Performers for All-New ‘Let the Good Times Roll’ Summertime Show

Returning this year are Moranz Entertainment regulars Tiffany Parker and Michael Minor. New to this year’s cast is Manny Houston, one of Charleston’s most talented singers and musician. Crystal Garrett (right) – who performed in last year’s “Let the Good Times Roll” – returns to sing Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain” and “This Is Me” from the movie “The Greatest Showman.”

Two of the Charleston area’s most talented teenagers will be back on stage in this Moranz Entertainment production. Teenage operatic sensation Jenna Flaherty will perform “Time to Say Goodbye,” a classical piece performed by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. Kindred Moore will bring some country flair to the stage with her rendition of “My Church” by Maren Morris.

Fiddle player extraordinaire Derek Deakins will make his debut with Moranz Entertainment. Deakins conducts the Wando High School Orchestra, but before moving to Mount Pleasant, the musician lived in Nashville. He performed with major recording artists such as The Osborne Brothers, James Monroe, Mac Wiseman, Charlie Daniels, Craig Morgan, Tracy Byrd, Andy Griggs, Neil McCoy and Blake Shelton.

Michael Minor will sing Charlie Daniels’ “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” with Deakins on the fiddle.

“It will be amazing,” Brad Moranz said.

Also performing in the show will be gospel singer Rodney Archie. This year’s musical director is local performer and pianist Demetrius Doctor.

Of course, no Moranz Entertainment show is complete without comedy sketches and dance numbers featuring Brad and Jennifer Moranz.

“Even if you’ve been to our summer show before, this is entirely new. We have new performers and new music unlike anything you’ve seen or heard before,” Moranz said. “Nowhere else in Charleston can you possibly see this much talent in one place.”

Shows are 7 p.m. Friday, July 20, 2 p.m. Saturday, July 21 and 3 p.m. Sunday, July 22. Tickets are $39 for adults; $36 for seniors (age 62 and up) and military; $22 for students 21 and under; $19 for children 12 and under. For groups of 15 or more, tickets are $34 each.
