The Holy City Appears in Another Top Ten List
Charleston tallied another accolade, but this time the city was honored by a consultancy firm rather than a magazine or internet publication.
Resonance Consultancy, advisors in tourism, real estate and economic development for countries, cities, and communities, today revealed their list of America’s Best Small Cities for 2018 and Charleston checked in at #4. Honolulu took home the top honors.
Resonance Consultancy said the Holy City is “at once an easy yet kinetic seaside American treasure, punctuated by European elegance and macaroon-colored antebellum mansions by day and all kinds of revelry after sunset.” I certainly can’t argue with any of that! You can see their full write-up on Charleston below.
Fifty winning small cities were unveiled today at a reception at New York University as part of the City Nation Place Americas forum, an annual conference for destination branding, economic development and tourism marketing that’s co-produced by Resonance.
