C-PAC to Present “Beach Blanket Big Band”
The Charleston Performing Arts Center (C-PAC) presents their summer production “Beach Blanket Big Band,” a quirky original musical set in the 1950’s, from Saturday, June 16th to Sunday, July 15th.
Here’s the venue’s full synopsis of the production:
“Let’s go to the Hop with Sue, Jasper, Linda, Charles, and Patricia! Together, this group of high school friends perform a summer show, ‘Beach Blanket Big Band,’ to help their friend Danny receive his diploma! These teens will rock & roll, bop and stroll through the 50’s to all your favorite tunes! You’ll fall in love with this kitchy 50’s-inspired sitcom musical. Fun for the entire family!”
C-PAC is located at 873 Folly Road on James Island, just under a mile from the James Island Connector. Parking is located in the rear of the facility and overflow parking is available at Hen &
the Goat and Verizon Wireless with sidewalk access to the theatre.
The venue is a cozy 70-seat cabaret-style theatre. “Table Tootsies” serve wine, cocktails, snacks, and desserts table side. Tickets are available here.
