Today, Charleston food and bev vets, Sarah Adams and Nikki Fairman, announced that the pilot episode of their television series, Charleston Chow, will premiere on The Cooking Channel at 12:30 pm on Sunday, July 1st.

The duo is known around town for their numerous individual and collaborative projects. Adams is a Charleston native and chef who has worked at Peninsula Grill and FIG, where she worked her way from prep cook to sous chef over the course of her six-year tenure. Among other ventures, she hosts pop-ups, group dining events, and digital cooking classes.

Fairman is a longtime FIG bartender, “recovering pastry chef,” and co-host of Effin B Radio, a podcast recorded in Charleston.

Together, they brought the Holy City an all-female dinner series called The Bad Bitches, and they created and sold a female-friendly apron. Their next venture will introduce them to an even bigger audience.

Here’s how the Cooking Channel describes “Dinner Party Divas,” the first episode of Charleston Chow: “Nikki Fairman and Sarah Adams run an experiential events business out of Charleston, SC. Sarah crafts the delicious food and Nikki brings the fun, creative — and sometimes challenging — asks to life for their clients. The immersive dinners and lavishly themed events include exceptional dishes, drinks, creative designs, music and even costumes.”
