Ballpark Festival of Beers Takes Over The Joe on August 18th
One of the Holy City’s most popular events, the Ballpark Festival of Beers, returns to Charleston for its 16th straight year.
The festival will be held at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park on Saturday, August 18th from 7 pm to 10 pm (VIP entry starts at 6 pm). It will feature over 100 varieties of beer including American and international ales, stouts, lagers, pilsners and specialty brews; live music from The Blue Plantation Band and Ben Fagan and the Holy City Hooligans; food trucks; SnoBar; games; vendors; and more. The first 2,500 people through the gates will get a complimentary sampling glass.
The list of trucks include The Kickin’ Chicken, Semilia, Smoky Oak, and Towin’ the Dough.
Patrons can also shop and enjoy games and giveaways from visiting participating vendors including Big Daddy Pork Skins, Towne Center Tabbaco and Wine, Hoover Mitsubishi, Wardrobe on Wheelz, The Caroline, Remember the Times Photobooth, The Wrenn Group, Reimagined by Reed, Costco of West Ashley, Good Clean Fun, Charleston Ale Trail, Grit Box, Saltwater Cycle, and SnoBar.
Tickets are available online, at area Kickin’ Chicken locations, or at the RiverDogs Box Office. VIP ticket options are also available. Sorry kids, this is a 21 and over event only.
Designated driver wristbands and taxi services will be available to make sure you get home safe.
