Charleston Symphony Orchestra League to Host Swanky Southern Soirée
On Saturday, October 6th, the Charleston Symphony Orchestra League, Inc. (CSOL) invites you to celebrate the Charleston Symphony at the CSOL Swanky Southern Soirée. The fancy evening will be held at the Country Club of Charleston starting at 6:30 pm and will include cocktails, a southern-inspired gourmet dinner, shopping opportunities, an auction, and dancing to the Joe Clarke Quintet.
The CSOL is in its 54th year supporting the Charleston Symphony through financial contributions, music education programs, and audience development. In addition to being the largest institutional donor to the orchestra, the League awards $33,000 in music scholarships to talented youths, aged 10 to 18, from the tri-county area as well as members of the Charleston Symphony. These scholarships enable the young musicians, as well as professional orchestra members, to expand their musical talents and experiences.
Individual Soirée reservations are $225 each ($55 tax deductible), or you can become a member of the Host Committee for $400 ($230 tax deductible). Host Committee members are invited to a special cocktail reception before the event and receive priority seating at dinner. Free valet parking is included for all guests. All proceeds benefit the Charleston Symphony and its educational outreach.
