East Cooper Land Trust’s 4th Annual Harvest Feast Set for October 25th
On Thursday, October 25th from 6 pm to 9 pm, the East Cooper Land Trust will host the 4th Annual Harvest Feast at Johnson Family Farms in McClellanville.
The evening includes a five-course dinner prepared by local chef Brannon Florie of Pier 41 and On Forty-One and featuring food from Johnson Family Farms. There will also be live music by The Lowhills and Bogan Mask.
Tickets are all-inclusive and can be purchased here.
In addition, all Harvest Feast ticket buyers are invited to visit the farm on Sunday, October 14th. Guests are invited to bring their kids or a few friends, see the animals, and enjoy this permanently protected farm.
East Cooper Land Trust acquired Thornhill Farm (now known as Johnson Family Farms) in McClellanville and permanently protected it with a conservation easement in 2014. This 94-acre property will forever be agricultural and protected from subdivision. When farms are profitable, and farming is valued, it decreases the threat of losing other farms to incompatible development.
