2018 Charleston Beer Week Schedule

The 6th Annual Charleston Beer Week is just days away and the Holy City is more than ready to knock back some brews.

The fun begins on Friday, September 7th and will continue on through Saturday, September 15th. The celebration will include 64 different events at numerous venues throughout the Charleston area.

Since the area now boasts 24 production breweries, three brewpubs, and a variety of craft beer-focused bars, restaurants, and retail stores, this is expected to be the biggest Beer Week yet. In addition, Beer Week will once again overlap with Charleston Restaurant Week (September 5-16), which will include craft beer specials on the menus of participating restaurants.

While local breweries will be a primary focus for the week, events will also feature many regional and national brands, making for a diverse lineup which will appeal to a broad audience. Many events feature specialty “one-off” beer releases, often brewed specifically for the week, while other events feature various food pairings, collaboration releases, tastings, and style-specific offerings.
