Trident VA Outpatient Clinic Hosts Veteran Health Fair
On September 25th, The Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center’s Trident VA Outpatient Clinic will host their second Veteran Health Fair from 9 am to 1 pm at the clinic located at 9237 University Blvd., North Charleston.
Informational booths provided at the health fair will include the following VA services: Eligibility and Enrollment, Mental Health, Suicide Prevention, MOVE! Dietitians, Pharmacy, Research Opportunities, Patient Advocates, Smoking Cessation, Prosthetics, Charleston Vet Center, and MyHealtheVet. VA nurses will be providing on-site weight checks and flu shots for currently enrolled Veterans. Veteran Service Organizations and Veterans Benefits Administration representatives will be available to help with claims, and community organizations will also be in attendance.
“The staff at the Trident VA Clinic are excited to be able to offer another great health fair to our Veterans,” said Trident VA Outpatient Clinic Nurse Manager Jackie Brumley. “Our goal is to reach every Veteran in the area to let them know of the services that the VA has to offer. Until we meet that goal, our clinic will continue to do community outreach projects such as this health fair.”
This event is open to all Veterans and on-site parking is available.
