Fam’s Brewing Co. Hosts Beer Release Party for Charleston Animal Society on Saturday

James Island’s only brewery, Fam’s Brewing Co., has turned everyone’s favorite peanut butter trail mix snack, “Puppy Chow,” into a limited release beer.

To celebrate the occasion, the restaurant is throwing a beer release party on Saturday, September 29th from 4 pm to 7 pm. The event is dog-friendly and will raise funds for the Charleston Animal Society.

A portion of each pint of Puppy Chow Porter sold will go to the local nonprofit. Plus, the Charleston Animal Society will have some adoptable dogs on site.

In addition to the party, Fam’s Brewing Co. will also have the college football games on, and guests can enjoy the following specials:

• $5 small 1 topping pizzas
• $5 bruschetta
• $6 spinach and artichoke dip
• $4 pretzel with beer cheese
• $5 fried green beans with chipotle ranch
