Puddles Pity Party, the “Sad Clown with the Golden Voice,” Performs at the Music Hall
The Puddles Pity Party is coming to the Holy City. Puddles, the “Sad Clown with the Golden Voice,” will bring his heartfelt anthems and suitcase full of Kleenex to the Charleston Music Hall on Thursday, March 7th at 8 pm.
This Pity Party is not all sadness and longing. The show is peppered with a brilliant sense of the absurd, mixing lots of humor with the awkward, tender moments. Tickets range from $35 to $100, with an optional dinner and show add on for an additional $32, and go on sale to the public on Friday, October 12th at 10 am.
Puddles Pity Party has 286k fans on Facebook and over 76 million views on YouTube for interpretations of classics by ABBA, Bowie, Cheap Trick, Queen and his unforgettable mash-up of “Pinball Wizard/Folsom Prison Blues” (below).
You may recognize him from his recent appearances on America’s Got Talent and video collaborations with Postmodern Jukebox.
Puddles also performed at the Charleston City Paper’s “Best Of” awards party in 2014.
