On Thursday, November 1st at 6 pm, the Charleston Library Society will welcome two high-tech speakers to its stage for a Silicon Harbor Conversation. The two insiders will share their views on Charleston being one of the fastest growing tech cities in the United States and on this ever-evolving industry.

The Senior Manager of Corporate Communications for LinkedIn, Kenly Walker Uphaus, will be on stage to discuss how she drives the narratives surrounding the LinkedIn brand, product strategy, company vision, and mission.

Also on hand to chat will be Charleston local, Stanfield Gray. As the CEO of DIG SOUTH, Gray is responsible for the biggest tech conference in the South and was just named one of Time Magazine’s “31 People Changing the South.”

Together they’ll explore a wide range of issues impacting the tech industry and our broader world today. From communications and marketing one’s industry and oneself to shaping corporate strategies and looking to the future, this will be an evening no one interested in Silicon Harbor should miss.

This ticketed event is $10 for CLS members and $20 for nonmembers. To purchase tickets, call 843-723-9912 or visit http://www.charlestonlibrarysociety.org.
