Good Friends of the Lowcountry to Raise Money for Charleston Families During Upcoming Luncheon
Good Friends of the Lowcountry, a Charleston-based nonprofit that raises funds to provide one-time, limited monetary assistance to low-income families who reside within the Lowcountry, will host their 2018 luncheon on Thursday, November 29th at 11 am.
The nonprofit works with social workers to find needs of crisis within our community and provides last chance resources when all other options have been exhausted, working as a ‘good friend’ stepping in to help a member of our community.
During the annual fundraising event, more than 300 women gather to share in the joy of helping others. A sit-down meal will be provided, as well as fellowship, true stories from recipients and a silent auction.
