Crafty Bastards Arts & Craft Fair Returns on December 1st
The Charleston City Paper‘s 2nd annual free community arts and crafts fair, Crafty Bastards, will take place Saturday, December 1st from 10 am to 4 pm at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Ballpark. In a lively street festival atmosphere, thousands of shoppers will enjoy live music, shopping, beer and mimosas, food trucks, and entertainment for the entire family.
More than 80 talented local and traveling artists have been handpicked by a select jury for their DIY chops, so this is not your average craft fair. You’ll find unique screen prints, hand stamped vintage silverware, decorative woodwork, hand poured candles, repurposed fabric bags, artisan jewelry, and much more.
Crafty Bastards is a free event and open to the public. For more details, and to see the lineup of our 2018 vendors and food truck fare, click here.
About Crafty Bastards
Crafty Bastards Arts & Crafts Fair is an exhibition and sale of handmade goods from independent artists that originated 13 years ago in Washington, D.C., by the fine folks at the Washington City Paper, and has also been produced in Nashville, Tennessee by the Nashville Scene since 2014. Charleston City Paper launched Crafty Bastards Charleston in 2017, to promote the voice and vision of independent artists and create an experience where consumers can discover unconventional, hard-to-find arts and crafts in a fun, festival atmosphere.
