Rusty Bull Hosting “A Campfire in the Woods” Homebrew Competition on Saturday
On Saturday, December 8th at 5 pm, Rusty Bull Brewing, and their friends at Lowcountry Libations will host their inaugural homebrew competition – A Campfire in the Woods.
Unlike other homebrew competitions that have rigid requirements and limit brewers to certain flavors or styles, Rusty Bull has challenged some of the best homebrewers in the Charleston area to create beers that will taste like campfire favorites (for example: something smoked, s’mores, toasted marshmallows, etc.).
A panel of judges will select a winner, but Rusty Bull will let anyone who makes a $5 donation to the North Charleston Miracle League, sample competition beers and other brewers choice beers, then vote for their favorite for the People’s Choice award.
While sipping on campfire beers, guests can also enjoy food from The Misfit Chef and live music from Whiskey Diablo (7 pm – 10 pm).
The winner selected by the panel of judges will get their beer brewed by Rusty Bull, homebrew supplies, a gift card, and more.
