Tickets on Sale Now for 4th Annual Soul of the Lowcountry Oyster Roast
On Saturday, February 23rd, from 1 pm to 4 pm, the 4th Annual Soul of the Lowcountry Oyster Roast will be held at Sunlean on Johns Island (3211 Eenjy Ln). Tickets include a catered oyster roast, local brews and spirits, and live music.
This family-friendly event is a unique way to celebrate and honor the inextricable relationship between people and land. Attending this event is a great way to support conservation in the Lowcountry as proceeds support Soul of the Lowcountry, the education and outreach program of Lowcountry Land Trust. This event draws a yearly crowd of 150+ people so purchase your tickets today!
“Our Oyster Roast is a great way to get families out on the land to celebrate local conservation,” Ashley Demosthenes, President & CEO of the Lowcountry Land Trust, said. “Through the Soul of the Lowcountry program, people get their hands dirty, immerse themselves in a landscape they love, and come to know, first-hand, why we all need to protect it.”
Tickets are available online through the Land Trust’s website. The cost is $40 and children 12 and under are free.
