Press Release
–
Crescent Homes announces a total of $84,750 given to Charleston nonprofits in 2018 through their philanthropic program, GIVE. Since conception of the GIVE program in the Spring of 2017 the local builder has donated $147,250 to 55 deserving organizations.
CEO/Owner Ted Terry created the philanthropic program as a means of supporting the local community by drawing attention to worthy charities in hopes to promote involvement amongst community members. The GIVE program donates $250 for every home sold and selects five new foundations to support quarterly*. New Homebuyers are given information about each organization and have the opportunity to select where to send the donation in their honor and are encouraged to get involved.
In 2018’s 4th quarter, Crescent Homes donated a total of $19,750 to the following local Charleston nonprofits:
$3950 to Gibbon Sanctuary
$6950 to I Heart Hungry Kids
$4400 to Going Places
$4450 to For the Exceptional
“Since 2009, I have strived to build a business that values quality, beauty and a strong sense of place,” said Ted Terry, Owner & CEO of Crescent Homes. “The GIVE program remains true to our mission to support and celebrate the vibrant Lowcountry community by lifting up those in need, forging relationships, and giving back to the incredible city we call home.”
