Piccolo Spoleto Outdoor Art Exhibition Marks 40th Anniversary
2019 will mark the 40th anniversary celebration of the Piccolo Spoleto Outdoor Art Exhibition. America’s longest running outdoor fine art exhibition returns to Marion Square on May 24th.
The event showcases the work of more than 80 of South Carolina premier artists in a free, open-air venue the entire family can enjoy. Art lovers have a unique opportunity to enjoy daily painting demonstrations and to personally connect with the artists who are on site for the exhibitions duration.
The artists set up their ‘art camp’ for 17 days during the Spoleto and Piccolo Spoleto arts festivals, so there are plenty of opportunities to visit the exhibition.
This year’s schedule is as follows:
- May 24 2018 – June 9, 2019
- 10 am to 5 pm, Mon-Thurs
- 10 am to 6 pm, Fri-Sun
