Charleston Named 8th Worst City for Football Fans

With Super Bowl LIII just days away, the personal-finance website WalletHub recently released its report on 2019’s Best & Worst Cities for Football Fans and Charleston was ranked as the 8th WORST.

To determine the best/worst places for America’s favorite sport, the website compared more than 240 U.S. cities with at least one college or professional football team based on 21 key metrics. The data set ranges from number of NFL and college football teams to average ticket prices.

Charleston ranks No. 237 overall and No. 63 among midsize cities.
