Mount Pleasant Restaurant Congress to Close After 3 Years
Saturday will be the last day to enjoy the Italian-Mexican offerings at Congress in Mt. Pleasant. After three years in business, Owners Adrienne and Chef Mark Ciaburri this week announced that they will be closing their restaurant.
“We are moving on to some fun adventures, including local pop-ups and events showcasing Mark’s fantastic Mexican flavors,” Adrienne said in an e-mail. “We hope to have a new location to serve Mark’s delicious food in the near future. We will be posting updates on Instagram and Facebook to keep everyone apprised of what’s happening with us. We have truly enjoyed the love and support of all of our guests, many of whom have become good friends.”
Congress is located at 1035 Johnnie Dodds Blvd.
