Buccaneers haul in No. 41-ranked recruiting class

Charleston Southern football’s 2019 recruiting class continues to receive accolades as the Buccaneers picked up the No. 41-ranked recruiting class according to HERO Sports. The organization announced its top 50 FCS classes this afternoon based on their own unique rating system.
The Buccaneers signed 18 players in the 2019 signing class with five December signees and 13 who inked their name this past Wednesday on National Signing Day.
Noted among the class and recognized among HERO Sports’ top-300 FCS signees were wide receivers Kaleb Chatmon (No. 61 – Cartersville, Ga.) and Isaiah Stephens (No. 85 – Tampa, Fla.), and linebacker Kevon Hilliard (No. 141 – Cornelius, N.C.).
The Bucs were one of two Big South teams recognized among the national rankings joining Kennesaw State (No. 21) among the top FCS recruiting classes this season.
