A new company based on Mt. Pleasant helps parents turn their children’s drawings into works of art to display at home. Mt. Pleasant designer and dad, Daniel Buchmeier was inspired by his daughter’s art to create shmooka.com and turn kids drawings into real pop art that you can hang on your walls.
Buchmeier knows that parents are deluged with art from their kids, but seldom hang them unless it’s on the fridge. Shmooka.com reproduces the drawings into fun pop art by hand and prints them on canvas wraps and fine art archival paper that last a lifetime. It’s also a great self esteem boost for kids to see their art hanging on the wall.
