Big Fake Wedding Returns to Charleston in April
Brides- and grooms-to-be in and around the city of Charleston are invited to attend The Big Fake Wedding on Thursday, April 4th at 7 pm at 563 King Street. The Big Fake Wedding is a bridal show alternative where “wedding guests” can enjoy a vow renewal ceremony, a cocktail-style dinner, and a dance-party reception while experiencing wedding vendors in action.
Credited for “changing the way future brides and grooms prepare to celebrate happily ever after” by The TODAY Show, The Big Fake Wedding is an innovative alternative to a trade-show style wedding expo.
Local married couple, Will and Mallie Plonk, will use the event to renew their wedding vows. Those attending will experience a “wedding” and have the opportunity to meet the vendors behind the scene.
Tickets for this event are $25 and can be purchased online.
The Big Fake Wedding (formerly known as The NotWedding) was launched in Atlanta by photographer Callie Murray in 2008 and has since grown into various markets nationwide. For more information on The Big Fake Wedding, please visit www.thebigfakewedding.com.
