Charleston Horse Carriage Companies Offering Free Carriage Rides to Active and Retired Navy During Charleston Navy Week
The three member companies of Charleston C.A.R.E.S. (Carriage Association for Responsible Equine Safety), Charleston Carriage Works, Old South Carriage Company, and Palmetto Carriage Works, will this week be offering free carriage rides to active and retired Navy during Charleston Navy Week. The promotion runs through Sunday, March 17th.
“We are excited to offer free rides to active duty and retired members of the Navy this week,” John Mulherin, President of Charleston C.A.R.E.S, said. “We appreciate everything our men and women in uniform have don and continue to do to keep us safe and we are thrilled to be able to give something back to them.”
This offer is available this Wednesday through Sunday to active and retired Navy who can present a valid ID.
The Charleston Carriage Association for Responsible Equine Safety (C.A.R.E.S) is an organization made up of the three largest horse carriage companies in Charleston: Palmetto Carriage Works, Old South Carriage Company and Charleston Carriage Works. The organization is committed to developing and promoting the highest standard for Charleston’s horse-drawn carriage community.
