theSkimm’s Book Tour is Coming to the Gaillard Center in June
The Charleston Gaillard Center today announced that theSkimm’s “How to Skimm Your Life” Book Tour is coming to the venue on Tuesday, June 25th. Co-Founders and Co-CEOs of the popular membership company, Carly Zakin and Danielle Weisberg, will visit Charleston in support of their debut book, How To Skimm Your Life.
Carly and Danielle will host nights out full of helpful and entertaining conversation. Audiences will feel empowered to take action on important decision points in their lives, from the more complicated challenges like negotiating a salary and creating a budget to the smaller, yet still useful skills like picking out the right bottle of wine. On the road, Carly and Danielle will talk about everything they’ve learned while building theSkimm.
The two former news producers launched theSkimm from their couch in 2012. They have since built a brand that continues to be a trusted source for more than 7 million daily subscribers, helping them live smarter lives every day.
Each ticket includes pre-show networking with other Skimm’rs in your area, a copy of theSkimm’s book, and an evening of real talk. VIP tickets include a signed book and a gift bag filled with some of theSkimm’s favorite products; new headshots by a professional photographer; a complimentary wine flight; access to preferred seating and early entry into the venue; and the opportunity to meet and take a photo with Carly and Danielle.
Pre-sales for theSkimm Night Out begin Tuesday, March 26th at 10 am. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, March 27th.
